2012.4.25 Special lecture; Japanese bride and Put on a YUKATA in summer.
We We invited teachers from Hollywood University
of Fashion & Beauty.for knowing how to put on a kimono
and how to make up suit for kimono. This lecture was helpful
for us to know Japanese culture and also was so grateful chance
for Meros.
2012.4.17 The entrance ceremony was held. Everyone is doing fine very much.
2012.3.8 Exchange meeting with the students who passed Art Universities
The students who will graduate from Meros Language School
and enter the famous art and design university and graduate
school gave practical advice to the students who will take
the entrance examination next year.
They showed the students what the important points were and
how to prepare in details on the undergraduate and graduate
examination through their real story.
It was very helpful for the student!

2012.02.16 Special lecture; for those who wish to find a job in Japan.
We invited a management-level official from the listed
company on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange
to talk about working for Japanese company; describing the
recent trend of recruiting foreign students, desired human
resources, and preparation for working. We believe that the
lecture have been valuable for students.
2012.01.27 Special lecture; `Finding out yourselves through Collage`
We invited the instructor who works at fashion field and
have a special lecture to experience collage. The students
who experienced collage for the first time could find out
their creativities and make their sights wider. This lecture
made students experience enjoyments and hardship during
working on collage and gave them a little hints about their
further decisions.
2011.11.30 Special lecture; Let’s try making MANGA!
We held “MANGA”class for teaching how to use screen
tone which makes pictures attractive. Those wishing to
study MANGA technically, or like MANGA a lot attended the
class.
We are going to offer opportunities for the students to
discover a variety of possibilities.
2011.11.16 Special class“Let’s study the spirit of Japan!”
We invited a master of hotel services to lecture on
Japanese services. It was a very practical lecture since
many students have part time jobs.
There was also an introduction of Shinto-style wedding
so that the students could have a better understanding of
Japanese culture.

2012.02.02 Cross-cultural exchange! The 6th!
The atmosphere that all the participants tried to
understand each other beyond their nationality through
various activities was naturally made. There was
consideration to others and this exchange was a part of that
how to understand a lot of cross-cultural situation in a daily
life regardless to their nationalities.
A circle of friendship beyond their classes and
nationalities is developing among Meros.

2012.02.01 Panel discussion
with public high school students &
Inter-cultural exchange! The 5th!
It was an important experience to use Japanese language
which they learnt and not only ask questions but tell their
opinion. Also, at the exchange, they could deepen their
understandings about Japanese high school students and
their own country by answering high school students' frank
and open questions.

2012.01.26 Cross-cultural exchange
with high school students
Some representatives of Meros entered each classroom at
high school and exchanged their culture. They talked freely
about their hobbies, popular things, studying abroad and so
on. Even though it was difficult to communicate sometimes,
they often managed to do with gestures. When the exchange
was finished, they felt closer each other.

2012.1.12 Intercommunion
with high school students
Panel discussion & Intercommunion We visited Japanese high school and had panel
discussion with high school students and meros’
students!
Students could use Japanese they learned to explain
their countries’ own cultures to Japanese high school
students.
Also for Meros’ students, they could have communication
with the students from other classes and other countries
whom they cannot have conversations easily at school.
We all will keep trying to make chances for the students to
understand Japanese culture through Japanese language.
